We believe that a successful business has a responsibility to give back to the community it operates in. Here's how we're doing that.
Flux Renewables partnered with United Way and Brookfield Residential to donate and install a complete residential solar system for a family in need. This project provided long-term energy cost savings for a family that needed it most, demonstrating that solar energy should be accessible to all Albertans regardless of income level.
We are proud supporters of Solar Alberta, the provincial non-profit dedicated to advancing solar energy adoption across Alberta. Our contributions include financial donations, volunteer time, and educational support to help Solar Alberta continue its mission of making solar information accessible to all Albertans through workshops, tours, and advocacy.
We believe in supporting the businesses that make Calgary strong. From sourcing materials locally to partnering with Calgary-based suppliers and trades, we keep our spending in the community whenever possible. We also support local events, sponsor community initiatives, and actively participate in Calgary business networks.
Flux Renewables was founded in Calgary in 2023. Our office is here, our team lives here, and every installation is completed by our local crew. We're deeply invested in this city and this province.

With over 160 installations completed across Alberta, our systems collectively generate hundreds of thousands of kilowatt-hours of clean energy every year. That translates to hundreds of tonnes of carbon dioxide avoided annually - equivalent to taking dozens of cars off the road permanently.
Alberta's electricity grid is one of the most carbon-intensive in Canada, which means solar installations here have an outsized environmental impact compared to provinces with cleaner grids. Every panel we install in Alberta displaces more emissions than the same panel would in British Columbia or Quebec.
