We help homeowners and business owners reduce financial stress and environmental impact through solar, battery backup, and EV charging solutions designed and overseen by a Master Electrician.
Our team had years of experience before Flux, working under another organization. We started Flux Renewables to do things differently - to focus on quality installations, honest communication, and long-term relationships over volume.
In electrical terms, flux describes the flow of energy through a surface. We chose the name because modern energy isn't static - it's generated on your roof, stored in your battery, and shared with the grid.
Flux Renewables exists to help Albertans take control of that flow - to move from passive energy consumers to active energy owners.

We live and work in Calgary. Every install is completed by our in-house team - no subcontractors, no hand-offs. When you call Flux, you get Flux.
We've stepped back from solar industry associations, and the honest reason is simple: those memberships are paid for. A logo on a website tells you a company wrote a cheque. It says nothing about whether they'll treat you fairly, quote you an honest price, or still answer the phone after the panels are up.
We've watched credibility get bought while real accountability went missing, and we didn't want our name lending weight to that. Our standards answer to one group only: the homeowners who trust us with their property and their money. We earn that trust the hard way, with transparent pricing, financing we walk you through line by line, and a reputation you can check yourself rather than one we paid to display.

Yes. Flux Renewables is a licensed electrical contractor in Alberta, led by a Master Electrician with over 20 years of experience. We are registered with Service Alberta, accredited by the BBB with an A+ rating, and carry full commercial liability insurance.
No. Every installation is completed by our in-house team. We never subcontract electrical or solar work. When you hire Flux, you get Flux - from the initial consultation through final activation and ongoing support.
We serve Calgary and communities throughout Southern and Central Alberta including Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, Chestermere, High River, Strathmore, Canmore, Banff, Red Deer, and rural properties. We have completed over 180 installations across the region.
Flux Renewables was founded in 2023, but our team brings over 20 years of electrical experience and 7+ years of solar-specific experience from previous organizations. We started Flux to focus on quality installations and long-term relationships over volume.
We are a Tesla Certified Installer, BBB A+ accredited, CEIP Qualified Contractor, and winner of the APSystems 2024 Solar Project of the Year award. All work is performed to Canadian Electrical Code standards.
They are sister companies, not the same business. Flux Renewables Inc. is the Master Electrician-led solar, battery, EV charging, and electrical contractor. Flux Energy Inc. is an Alberta retail electricity and natural gas marketer. Your solar install is designed, built, and warranted by Flux Renewables.
