Our team had years of experience before Flux, working under another organization. We started Flux Renewables to do things differently - to focus on quality installations, honest communication, and long-term relationships over volume.

In electrical terms, flux describes the flow of energy through a surface. We chose the name because modern energy isn't static - it's generated on your roof, stored in your battery, and shared with the grid.

Yes. Flux Renewables is a licensed electrical contractor in Alberta, led by a Master Electrician with over 20 years of experience. We are registered with Service Alberta, accredited by the BBB with an A+ rating, and carry full commercial liability insurance.
No. Every installation is completed by our in-house team. We never subcontract electrical or solar work. When you hire Flux, you get Flux - from the initial consultation through final activation and ongoing support.
We serve Calgary and communities throughout Southern Alberta including Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, Chestermere, High River, Strathmore, and rural properties. We have completed over 160 installations across the region.
Flux Renewables was founded in 2023, but our team brings over 20 years of electrical experience and 7+ years of solar-specific experience from previous organizations. We started Flux to focus on quality installations and long-term relationships over volume.
We are a Tesla Certified Installer, BBB A+ accredited, CEIP Qualified Contractor, Solar Alberta member, and winner of the APSystems 2024 Solar Project of the Year award. All work is performed to Canadian Electrical Code standards.
